I chose to tweak my memory manually today. During the tutorial (referenced below), they suggested using MemTest86 to check for stability after the OC. It looked stable when I booted into Windows before testing. There were several errors, and the guide advised increasing the voltage to 1.45 volts—something he’d run systems at without issues. I applied it gradually, but still encountered many errors. At that voltage, here’s a video of what occurred. My RAM is https://pcpartpicker.com/product/WRK2FT/...6d-16gtzrc Any assistance would be appreciated. Also, the XMP setting is mentioned in MemTest, but I want to confirm it’s manual. Thanks! Check the CPU-Z details and SPD settings. View the Typhoon burner screenshots for reference. Memory temperatures should stay under 50°C during OC and OV. You mentioned 3466MHz earlier—was that helpful? Let me clarify your thoughts. I know you're a bit older now.

I’ll fetch those below 50 when boosted or if they’re overclocked. If you’re asking about the 3466mhz component, I helped before but didn’t mention it.

1. thank you! 2. OC means overclock and OV means over volt. The memory may have temp sensors yes. ...Yes, keeping memory cool is important. Put a fan on the sticks if need the air flow. 3. Yes I did. I told you there's not a big difference between 3466 and 3600mhz.

Apologies for the delay! 2. Thank you, I wasn’t aware of what OV stands for. 3. Actually, I missed that in our previous chat, but it’s not important https://imgur.com/sbUrRST

It seems the issue isn't linked to the RAM, but possibly to the system's memory management. The problem started after opening CPU-Z.

When performance drops, try resetting default settings in BIOS or erasing CMOS using the jumper on the board. Wait about 15 seconds, then restart the overclock from the most stable setting and gradually adjust back up, or focus on timing adjustments as needed.

I changed the timing settings, but the MemTest isn’t loading and Windows won’t open. I tried increasing the values instead of reducing them, since that’s what I thought would help. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Oh no, I just adjusted all the times to larger numbers. Let me reset and check the results.
