Number keys type wrong number
Number keys type wrong number
I own a mechanical keyboard that has functioned perfectly until today. Suddenly, an issue arose where the number row began displaying incorrect characters. The numbers 1 through 4 started typing 5, 6, 7, and 8 respectively, and the symbols also changed accordingly. For instance, pressing Shift + 1 now outputs % instead of the usual %5. I've searched extensively for a fix but haven't found a solution yet. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
My country has been set to Vietnam for a while without issues, but I just changed it to the United States and the same problem continues. I tried using a different keyboard, which fixed the issue, but when I plugged in this one, the problem still exists. I believe the keyboard is likely the cause.
It seems like your keyboard might have switched countries by accident. Just check the settings and see what's selected. My country has been set to Vietnam for a while now without issues, but I changed it to the United States and the same problem continues. Trying another keyboard resolved the issue, but using this one still causes the problem. I believe the keyboard itself might be the cause.
Encountered the identical issue.
Resolved it by restarting the keyboard.
