Noticing the overclock feature isn't working.
Hi there,
I just installed my new PC and attempted to overclock the CPU. Since I've done this before, I'm confident in my knowledge about it. But after overclocking the new CPU, I checked CPU-Z and other tools like Intel Extreme Tuning Utility—still nothing. I even watched a video to double-check, but it didn’t help. Could you explain why the overclocking isn’t working? Also, I’ve confirmed the power settings are set to Ultimate Performance, Game Boost is enabled, and everything seems correct. But nothing changed.
PC specs:
- MB: MSI Mag z790 Tomahawk Wifi DDR5
- CPU: I5 13600KF
- RAM: G Skill Trident Z5 6400
- Storage: Viper VP4300 2T
- GPU: Asus TUF Gaming 4090
- PSU: MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5
- Cooler: Asus Rog Strix LC 360 (nav image)
- Case: Corsair 5000D
Looking forward to your thoughts.
Cheers.

Adhere to the instructions in the User Manual, as indicated on physically marked Page 55.
Pay attention to Overclocking Profiles using F8 and F9.
Make sure the new PC operates without any overclocking.
Then attempt overclocking again, starting low and adjusting gradually.
The goal is to check if overclocking functions and identify any limiting factor that halts it.
