Hello! I just installed MSI Afterburner and someone on Discord suggested setting core up to max and memory to 200. I followed their advice, and everything worked well with a smooth frame rate and good performance. However, I increased it further to 300, which caused my computer to become unstable—glitching and refusing to open Nvidia Inspector or MSI. Please help! My GPU model is 840m.

The topic here is wrong; it wasn't MSI Afterburner that caused the issue, but rather your own actions or lack of knowledge about overclocking. You acted impulsively and damaged your system.

Start your PC in safe mode, clear your configurations in MSI Afterburner/uninstall it, and avoid attempting to overclock your laptop.
