Hello, I faced a really annoying issue when my computer crashed at 2 AM and restarted with light mode enabled. No matter what I did to switch back to dark mode, it quickly returned to light mode! It seems PowerToys introduced a new tool called "Light Switch" that lets you toggle between modes swiftly. Unfortunately, the timing is off and it doesn’t function well. Turning it off resolved the problem. I thought about sharing this with others who might encounter the same situation.

PowerToys should be included automatically in Windows by default. I can't use an ultrawide or multi-monitor configuration without FancyZones anymore.

Consensus reached firmly. I understand it was once a community-driven effort, but Microsoft now controls it and I’m puzzled as to why they don’t just leave it active by default.

They were taken aback since they didn’t secure PowerToys on Windows 11 Pro.
