Not possible to run CNC Red Alert 2 on Windows 11.
I really want to play Red Alert 2 once more, but I only have it on a physical disc and can’t find it on any digital platform. I bought an external CD player/writer, but when I insert the disc it launches the launcher. When I try to install Windows, it asks for permission and says yes, but nothing actually starts the installation. Any suggestions on how to get this disc working? I also checked the disc’s files and opened the installer files (.exe), but it still doesn’t work. Should I consider getting a cracked version from Pirate Bay?
Consider testing it in compatibility settings. Click the executable, go to properties, choose the compatibility tab, and enable the option for XP from the menu.
Unfortunately this doesn't function properly, the same issue occurs. I even attempted to run it with admin privileges.
