Struggling to push overclock on a new 9900K. With an MSI 390 Godlike board and 32gb CorsairCMW32GX4M2C3200 RAM, the system runs smoothly but freezes under high temperatures after five minutes of Prime95. It also requires a voltage around 1.34. Did I miss something in the BIOS settings, or can I still tweak things? Thanks!

It seems you're looking for a rephrased version of this text while keeping its meaning intact. Here it is:
The differences in thermal and stability stress test workloads are quite significant. Utilities that don't overload or underload your processor will provide a reliable thermal baseline. This document compares utilities categorized as thermal and stability tests based on TDP percentage, averaged over six processor generations with stock settings, rounded to the nearest 5%. Although these tests cover workloads from 70% to 130% TDP, Windows Task Manager treats each test as 100% CPU utilization, which reflects processor activity rather than actual workload. Core temperatures directly reflect power consumption (in Watts), which is influenced by...
well, if it runs perfectly without overclocks and crashes when you go overclocks, you shouldn't push it that far, should you? the best advice I could offer is: watercooling. running a 9900k without watercooling isn't advisable. even with a powerful CPU cooler, watercooling still outperforms an air cooler.
Are you relying solely on Prime95 for stress testing? I’ve been working hard over the past week to achieve a stable overclock and was considering swapping my 9600k because it consistently fails small FFT tests on the same core, completing each run in seconds. I downloaded every available stress test and benchmark I could find, but nothing else showed any failures. Eventually, I realized Prime95 and AVX are too demanding for my 9th generation Intel processor, so I decided to run it at 5ghz with 1.3 volts. So far, I haven’t encountered any stability problems. I’d still be cautious about using Prime95’s small FFT results.
