Hi, I'm working on installing a Wi-Fi card via the PCIe X1 slot on my motherboard. When I connect the GPU into the PCIe X16 slot, the card disappears from view. It functions properly when I remove the GPU and use the APU in the 2200G. Could this be due to a limit on the CPU's PCIe lanes? Are there any alternatives or workarounds? My setup includes a B450MA Ryzen 3 2200G, an MSI RX570, 2x8GB RAM, a 650W PSU, and a Cudy AX3000 PCIe adapter with Intel AX200 card. All drivers are current, and I appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks!

Your 2200G supports 12 PCIe lanes. If the graphics card is using all of them (16x), which it can do with a PCIe 3.0 x16 interface, it’s fully utilizing the bandwidth. Running an APU-based GPU feels unusual, but swapping to a newer 2300x would give you access to 20 lanes from the CPU side.

Sure, I'm here to assist. With a resolution around 2300x, you might want to consider overclocking if your board supports it. Alternatively, you could upgrade to a more powerful chip, like an R5 2600.
