I purchased this item likely 2 or more years ago, and I need the product number because my PC was reformatted and drivers didn’t install automatically. I don’t have the original packaging and can’t quickly check the internet for it. I’m hoping someone can help me identify possible matches. Thanks a bunch! Also, I tried scanning the QR code, but my camera didn’t recognize it.

It’s needed because older laptops often can’t handle modern networks like 5G, so an adapter bridges the gap between the device and the new technology.

Check if your laptop needs a Wi-Fi card. You can usually get a USB version, but I found a USB adapter for you here: https://www.walmart.com/ip/NETGEAR-AC600...SellerId=0

The USB port is simply a regular USB with an added Wi-Fi antenna. If you're looking to use a USB port for a Wi-Fi adapter, check out this link: https://www.walmart.com/ip/NETGEAR-AC600...SellerId=0

It seems the setup already provides Wi-Fi, so adding another device shouldn’t change that. You might want to check if the new item interferes with your existing connection.

An expansion card would offer greater access to faster speeds, and it doesn’t require a USB connection.
