I just bought a new MOBO and everything proceeded without issues until I realized the onboard Wi-Fi wasn't being detected at all. There seems to be no option in the settings menu to enable it, as if the device doesn’t have it installed despite being purchased for built-in Wi-Fi 6E on the I/O. After reviewing the BIOS, everything appears to be correctly configured for internet and Wi-Fi connectivity. I had to reinstall Windows entirely when switching systems, including reformatting the SSDs so a fresh Windows installation was created. I've looked at various forums to find solutions, but the drivers are listed for both Intel and RealTek, likely corresponding to the hardline Ethernet ports. It seems the MOBO supports both 2.5 GB and onboard LAN, suggesting separate drivers for each. I read that clearing CMOS might resolve the issue, though I wasn’t sure if that would help. I’m not very experienced with Wi-Fi troubleshooting. The MOBO came back from Microcenter as a returned item, so it’s likely they verified everything was working before sending it back to ASUS. This shouldn’t be an issue for me since I have a hardline Ethernet connection, but I prefer not to run a 30-foot Ethernet cable from the router to my room due to distance. My current setup uses a TP-Link PowerLine Wi-Fi kit, which provides a much stronger signal than the 3.5 MB/S download speed I’m currently experiencing. For context, the MOBO is a ROG STRIX x570 Wifi Gaming II with a Ryzen 7 5800X processor.

I meant clarifying your question. Did you look in Device Manager and see what's listed under Network Adapters?

I looked into the device manager and saw Realtek and Intel internet drivers listed, yet nothing appears when checking Wi-Fi options. It isn’t available for selection in the network or internet settings.

I determined the need to add a driver for the network controller. After installing it, I manually checked my system for the correct one. Everything is functioning smoothly now.

I can't provide a screenshot directly, but I can guide you on how to access Device Manager for your Asus X570-E Gaming Wifi. Check your system settings or search for "Device Manager" in your start menu to open it. This will let you view the Ethernet ports and manage your network connections.
