I'm trying to run Minecraft with shaders and consistently reaching around 100 fps, but I'm hitting a ceiling. The task manager shows high GPU usage—about 80%—and CPU load is around 30-40%. Even with 10 GB of RAM, the system seems to cap performance. My GPU runs at 76°C while the CPU stays at 65°C, and the PSU is delivering 750W. Could there be something limiting my setup? Thanks for your assistance!
I’d use MSI Afterburner to monitor GPU, CPU, and memory while gaming. OSD can work during games, but Windows Task Manager isn’t reliable and consumes a lot of resources. I’m not sure about the Strix software, but I wouldn’t rely on it either. Usually, manufacturer monitoring tools aren’t trustworthy. The real advantage of MSI Afterburner is that it’s not developed by MSI itself—it’s sponsored by someone with expertise, often a Russian developer who knows his business well. It’s pretty impressive compared to generic options.
