The board is designed to handle both ECC and non-ECC configurations, though performance may vary depending on the specific model. What version are you using?

It appears to be a Fujitsu server board, but I can't locate its specific model online.

It's usually okay to use non-ECC memory in it. I've handled this before on an HP server board. The main point is keeping ECC and non-ECC memory separate. However, if the board can't support non-ECC memory for any reason, you're not risking anything by using it. At most, it might prevent booting and show a memory error code until you add ECC memory. TL;DR, if you have both RAM types, test them to see what works best.
