My friend assembled a new machine with an AMD Ryzen 5 7500F, an Asrock B650M HDV/M2, and two 16GB 6000mhz RAM modules. His GPU is a GTX 1080. When he presses the BIOS key (F2) at startup, only a black screen appears. Reddit discussions suggest this might be because the BIOS needs an integrated graphics card to display video. If that’s true, he likely lacks an AMD APU with an integrated GPU, which would prevent him from reinstalling Windows or enabling full-speed RAM settings. There should be a method to access the BIOS properly.

This cpu requires a discrete graphics card. Deleting it isn't functioning properly?
