Are you sure you're into Dark Souls? It's not exactly an enjoyable experience—it's more about testing your patience and searching online for solutions.
If you're using two monitors, don't take it seriously. The game has so many problems that it's not worth playing. I managed about 20 minutes and just gave up—this isn't because of how hard the game is, but because of the terrible experience on the worst PC version ever.
I just wish you approached it with sensible expectations about how the game actually functions. It’s hard to say what “properly” means here, but it’s no joke—it’s often cited as one of the most problematic PC ports ever made. It’s become quite famous in that regard.
