Hi. I'm facing an issue with the Windows search feature. I can't perform searches on the current PC using the search bar. Instead, I can only search for files on "C" or "D" disks. My setup has an SSD on disk "C" and a HDD on disk "D". Is there a solution to this? Thanks.

when trying to look up anything in the search box on "this pc" and pressing enter, nothing happens. For instance, searching for "backup" shows the words but doesn't affect the PC when you press enter. It only works if you press enter on "c" or "d" disks. I use Windows 10 Pro.

The image seems to show the Paint application. Kindly supply screenshots of the relevant Windows Explorer interface.

what's the distinction? the paint image clarifies everything. the issue isn't difficult to grasp, and the picture speaks for itself. i can't find anything when i press enter on "this pc". nothing occurs.

Launch Task Manager with administrative privileges.
Widen the Task Manager interface and choose Performance.
Keep the Performance window active to monitor the listed drives.
Then open File Explorer and move that window aside if needed so it doesn’t obstruct the Task Manager.
Begin a search for disk activity within Task Manager.
What occurs or does not occur? Do you notice any disk activity at all?
