So I just assembled my gaming PC. After finishing the installation, I tested it. The machine was quite good but I noticed that without the OC cooler, my i5 reaches 45-50°C. Is it better to keep going and start overclocking, or should I apply more thermal paste again? The CPU cooler is Fortis 3.

All cores are roughly at 50% load during gaming
Are those 40-50 °C while you're playing?
That's a decent temperature
You might want to run a stress test using programs like Aida64 Stresstest or Prime 95 to check your maximum temperatures

If the temperature is idle, it's too hot. I think there might be an issue with the cooler setup.
If the temperatures while working, you're in a good position to adjust.
