Noise from the power cable crackling.
I purchased a new Acer Predator gaming PC about a month ago and have been hearing a crackling noise from the power cord outlet side. I’m unsure how long this has been happening, but it’s making me feel uneasy. The sound appears every time the PC is plugged in, whether the computer is on or off, and it comes from the outlet. I’ve switched to a different cable, but the noise persists. The power bar I use isn’t equipped with surge protection. Is this typical behavior or something to be worried about? Thanks, IMG_1522.MOV
I’d likely purchase a fresh energy bar, as the discoloration suggests the container is quite worn.
