Hi there, I just completed my first PC build a while back. I’ve noticed the CPU cooler is producing a pretty loud buzzing sound. The GPU fans only kick in under certain loads, and the case fans are almost silent, so the CPU fan is the only one I hear. I’ve attached CPU Fan.mp3 for reference—this is the sound I captured when I held the mic near the front of the machine. Is this kind of noise typical for a CPU cooler? My temperatures look normal, and the system runs well in games. Still, if it becomes an ongoing problem, I’d like to fix it quickly. I think the cooler is installed correctly too, since I remember it was causing issues before I put it in place. Thanks for your help—I’m open to any questions!

It seems like a standard stock CPU cooler is what you're thinking of. These typically fluctuate more than aftermarket options, which can lead to noticeable changes in sound.

It's great to hear that. I wasn't sure if it was typical, so I double-checked to be certain, especially since this was my first attempt.
