I recently upgraded my CPU to a Ryzen 5 3600x, but during the installation the bracket detached and I pushed it around while assembling the PC. Once the PC started in the bracket area, a vibration noise emerged when only the CPU fans were running at higher speeds. After opening the front panel and tightening one side, the noise stopped. When I removed my finger, it resumed again. I attempted to tighten the screws, but after some time the heat caused the noise to return. The issue disappeared when I flipped the PC either horizontally or upside down. My previous CPU was a Ryzen 3 2200G and the motherboard was an MSI B450M PRO-M2 MAX.

If yes, consider swapping it out for a more affordable or higher-quality alternative. The Hyper 212 LED has its own backplate design, making it reliable even if yours is damaged—it’s sold for $35.
