Hello, I've observed a loud screeching noise from the audio app, which occurs infrequently—around two times in the last 2-3 days. It seems to happen with various media like games and videos. Could you suggest possible causes or precautions to avoid it again? All drivers are current according to the manufacturer's site. Thanks ahead!

It would be strange if it originated from both sources. Verify whether it comes from the desktop PC itself or from speakers; if not, coil whine is likely. Unless it’s loud, it might be a software problem.

occurs no matter which audio output device you use—both headphones and speakers function similarly. It happens whether CPU or GPU usage is low or medium, across videos and games. The issue isn’t consistently repeatable, at least from what I know. In summary, the problem stems from the PC itself, not from the speakers or headphones. The sound comes from media playback, not individual audio components. I was wondering which factor is more likely responsible and how to pinpoint it further.
