Last night I attempted to access data from an old HDD with physical damage. It clicks when a PC tries to read it, so I connected it using a HDD USB adapter to my laptop. Unfortunately, the drive didn't read properly. Today I switched my laptop to an SSD and heard a clicking noise. I'm unsure what's causing it or if it's related to the fan. It seems to happen only when I power on and wake from sleep mode. Is there a solution? Link to the sound: Could it be coil whine? It starts around three seconds. I'm not sure if the fan is involved. Thanks!
