I mistakenly activated the reset feature on my PC, which caused the screen to shut down but kept the system running. The case is an MSI MPG VELOX 100R Mid-Tower. I’m not very experienced with computers, so I’m unsure what’s happening and feel a bit concerned.

I noticed your quick frustration. The reset option essentially restarts the system by shutting it down and then turning it back on right away. If it doesn’t come back to the desktop, there might be another issue to address.

I should confess, my frustration often takes over, yet I've been waiting nearly thirty minutes—PC remains active yet unchanged.

Thanks for your response, it seems I took a moment to get back online. I wanted to let you know I'm still getting familiar with the PC setup—it's all new to me, coming from consoles. Cheers!

Turn off the device completely using the PSU switch or holding the power button. Attempt to restart it normally and check for any error codes, lights, or beeps from the motherboard. If issues persist, consider resetting your BIOS settings. For more details, refer to Intel's support guide at the provided link. Also, confirm whether your system is using a HDD or an SSD.
