No, you're not alone.
No, you're not alone.
Sure? That's interesting! It's going to happen eventually, right?
You can interpret it as a concern or view it as a chance to experience some gameplay similar to what we already have, while they aim to keep the narrative as unexpected as possible. I also recognize my desire to see more from them regarding SQ42.
It seems most of the technical aspects like FPS, long-distance flying, and spacewalks are already defined in the PTU. These systems will be used during the Squadron 42 campaign.
I’ve basically lost interest in SC. My hornet is now a super version with LTI, but I was excited about joining Coop Squadron 42. Feature creep and the fact it’s been hard to play on my system have made me disenchanted with Star Citizen.
They haven’t updated anything on the list for a long time, but the upcoming features from 2.5 to 2.7—like GRIM Hex and planetary landing—should bring back your confidence. Keep going, buddy!
I was looking for a platform similar to Freelancer but with a completely different approach.
Looking back, the project was discussed several years ago, but development has been ongoing for three years. Most major AAA titles take four to five years from start to release, yet they usually hit launch within six months to a year after production begins, especially since they’ve completely redesigned their engine. To avoid disappointment, consider putting the game on hold, wait until around a year later, and then enjoy when it finally comes out.
