No, your motherboard isn't toasted.
Hey there. I've completed the assembly and tested it last night. After some configuration tweaks and a full system reboot, I powered down everything and unplugged it from the wall. This morning I decided to finish the setup, but it still won't turn on. I have a Pico PSU and a 100W power supply, which is what I used for LED strips before. It never really ran. My NAS build uses the same setup and works perfectly. This model only has two RAM modules and an SSD, so it doesn't require much power. I've tried resetting the CMOS, removing the RAM, using a different PSU, switching power cables, and changing the CMOS battery. The same problem happened to me last year when I built that NAS – the motherboard failed completely. Eventually, I had to replace it. Now I'm curious what's going on. Is the Pico PSU causing the issue? Or could it be that plugging in the power cord caused the board to overheat?
