Yesterday the system displayed a black screen after the Windows logo, so I entered safe mode to reinstall the graphics driver. During this process I encountered an error code 202 during the installer setup, which I hadn’t experienced before. After successfully installing it, I resumed using my PC and eventually restarted into Windows logo again. Once there, the screen went black immediately after logging in. After several attempts, I managed to enter safe mode once more. Right now I’m working in safe mode and need guidance on what’s going on. Some online sources suggested the issue might be related to the graphics card, especially since my machine booted up without AMD drivers installed. Also, I noticed a strange yellow tint on the screen when using the PC yesterday. Could you help clarify what’s happening? Thanks!

Ensure networking is active, then download the DDU Display Driver Uninstaller. Remove the AMD driver, use DDU to clear any remaining files, and restart into Windows.

I've handled this before at least three times, sorry if I wasn't clear. When I entered safe mode and reinstalled the driver, I used DDU. On my most recent try, I installed an older graphics driver in December 2022, which seems to be functioning properly. However, halfway through the installation it crashed into a black screen while the keyboard was still active, and there was no "no signal" message. I ended up shutting down the PC by pressing Alt F4, which resolved the issue. Now I'm in safe mode and plan to uninstall using DDU, then reinstall it safely.

Proceed by testing the GPU on a different setup and another GPU within that environment.

I tested it in another system and it functioned. I reverted it to mine and it now works properly. I'll try some games on it for now.

I've updated the driver, but games are still loading slowly. Even in the main menu it feels like the graphics card isn't working properly. I changed my Steam accounts recently, but the issue persists. The computer is much slower now, and I haven't found any viruses during a scan. I don't have another GPU to test.

You meant to ask about the results. Have you tested it for a short time and played some games?

It could be that your hard drive or solid-state drive is failing. This isn't always related to your GPU, but it depends on the type of slowdowns you're experiencing.

I also tried it on another computer. The Dota 2 menu fails to load, showing only black and some text. It takes about five minutes to load, and when I close the game screen it turns yellowish. This issue is happening on both machines, even though my SSD is at 85% capacity.

It seems like the GPU is probably the issue, though it might just be failing.
