It seems your dual-channel functionality isn’t working after replacing the PSU and reapplying thermal paste. This could indicate an issue with your CPU itself, or it might be related to the RAM slots not functioning properly.

Tell me about your setup, if you need assistance. The problem seems to be on your motherboard.

The connections appear okay. Did you inspect the socket for broken pins? Typically, issues stem from the socket rather than the CPU itself.

My PC components: i5 6400 GTX 1050 Ti 860 EVO 500GB Corsair CV450 G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x 8GB 3200 MHz (overkill but I was my first upgrade and I’m upgrading one by one). A new issue has appeared after I re-seated the CPU. Only one cable pair functions properly when both worked together before the PSU. The other seems to be faulty.
