I was assembling a new PC and accidentally missed a screw placement. Sometimes a standoff is missing, and the power button wouldn’t shut off the machine. I wasn’t sure if a short circuit occurred since the motherboard never connected to the case. The button kept staying on even after holding it for a while. The PC wouldn’t start at all, and it didn’t display any output. One of the rectangular components near the CPU socket seems misaligned.
