According to the guide, you can secure the thumbscrew using a Phillips tool and it should hold well until it stops moving. Be careful not to apply too much force to avoid damaging the screw.

You have the option to divide the cable. Occasionally you might avoid splitting it entirely and just let the remaining four pins stick out beyond the connector.
