Are you wondering if people take the time to set up drivers when a component comes ready to use? The only one I install is the GPU.

If a newer release exists and I'm aware of it, I usually opt for the latest version.

In the Windows environment, driver updates are commonly handled via Windows Update. Apart from that, I also allow my graphics card to wait about a week for new drivers.

It really matters to me, especially when it comes to NVIDIA drivers. If something odd appears on the system, I’ll check other drivers, though that usually doesn’t happen often. On Windows 10, everything works smoothly without much hassle. I just installed Windows 7 on my laptop and didn’t realize how problematic it is without network drivers by default.

When it functions by default, I don’t require updates. When necessary, I upgrade to the newest version available at that moment. The graphics driver is the exception, and I only install it occasionally.

I haven't installed Windows 10 builds before, so I'll always do it myself. Up to now I'm confident the system can manage these tasks on its own.
