It might be more affordable to purchase a previous operating system and then switch right away to Windows 10.

You may upgrade to Windows 10 for free during its initial twelve months. For a more affordable option, consider Windows 7 or 8 if you wish to switch later. Currently, Windows 7 is £20 less than Windows 10. Regarding older systems like Vista, I have no idea how Microsoft plans to support them.
