I could purchase it from Amazon at around $20 per month with a student discount. I’d probably stick to Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and maybe Lightroom later, but not plan for extensive use.

But it exists whenever you need it. It’s worth giving them a shot just for fun. Or perhaps a role in the future might require it, and you’ll end up spending a lot of money now while missing out on a subscription later.
