Hi, quick question about ram compatability... I have G.Skill TridentZ RGB DDR4-4133 C17 DC - 16GB, (Double this, so 8x4 sticks) and ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E GAMING. Checking the compatability with the motherboard it says it's combatible with 2x8 of this specific ram. (Model: F4-4133C17D-16GTZR) Can i assume it's fine to use 4x8 of this ram as well? Since there physical space on the motherboard for it. I'm having all kinds of different crashing issues, so i'm starting to wonder.

If it works with 2, it should work with 4—just a big asterisk above the number. The 4133mhz version is essentially an overclock compared to the base speed, meaning 2 units might run smoothly but 4 could cause instability. The sticks themselves are likely compatible at the standard 2933mhz for regular CPUs, though anything higher usually needs approval from the motherboard maker. Overall, it's a premium board and there seems to be some testing done on similar setups.

@GhostRoadieBL Alright thank you for your response, I'm going to be monitoring how my computer behaves now that i removed two sticks. From slot 1 and 3. I'm 50% certain that either ram slot 1 is faulty, or it simply can't handle 4 stick with XMP enabled to reach 4133mhz.

You might also attempt placing all four sticks together, lowering the speed to 4000 or lower, and check for stability.
