It seems the clock speed is simply a basic setting that doesn't apply to any K CPUs.

You can increase BCLK, but you won’t see a significant performance improvement. It’s not worth the effort or risk involved.

Caution, adjusting BCLK influences the entire system, not just your CPU. It impacts RAM, IO ports, and more. Pushing too hard or far can cause serious damage. Most people avoid changing BCLK unless they're skilled overclockers who fully understand the risks.

XMP profiles simply scale the expected 100MHz base clock, which is safe. Starting with Kaby Lake, Intel introduced microcode on locked CPUs that blocks booting if the base clock exceeds 102.98MHz. This means you can gain extra performance without cost, but it’s limited to the available cores. For example, with an i7-9700 having a turbo boost multiplier of 44, reaching 4.4GHz would give you just over 100MHz across all cores.

The 100MHz all-core clock is quite substantial, offering a noticeable boost. It typically results in around 2-3 frames per second improvement.
