When exploring pictures on Google Images, right-clicking and saving is generally safe as long as the site is reputable. It’s important to verify the source before downloading. Clicking “view image” then saving may still pose risks if the file contains malicious content. Using a virus scanner after browsing can help detect any threats. To stay protected, avoid suspicious downloads and keep your system updated.

It's possible to contract a virus from any source. That's just how it works.

Unless you're encountering some unusual or disturbing content, ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), I believe you're all set. About 100% safe. Your antivirus should detect any issues if they exist.

It's very improbable, though not impossible.

.001% chance, I mean, you'd have to be running Internet Explorer for that to happen.

Phew... Alright good, glad I don't need to go through and delete all the images I mindlessly save to my computer. Thanks for the help! Will certainly still be more cautious though just knowing that there is a very minuscule chance...
