Hi, I see you're on Windows 8.1 and trying to install Windows 10. The Win 10 icon isn't appearing on your taskbar despite updates, a restart, and waiting a while. You mentioned it finally showed up after some time. What should you try next?

The most recent software you added is noted, and you'll receive it eventually.

Updating now will trigger the next steps. Reboot after the changes are applied. (How I installed it on my Windows 8.1 version)

The update isn't available yet, which might be confusing.

there is a "reserve win 10" icon. Idk what it makes exactly, you give your email and I think it notifies you when the win 10 download is ready for you

In reality, reserving Windows means you agree to receive a background download of Windows 10 and install it automatically once it becomes accessible.
