I acquired a very affordable Threadripper PRO 5955WX, though it’s tied to a specific vendor. My main concern is that I’d need a P620 Lenovo motherboard, which seems limited to Lenovo-branded components. Have others tried running this workstation on alternative power supplies besides Lenovo’s proprietary ones? I’m not planning to run a GPU, just using it for server purposes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated—thank you ahead of time.
