While playing Shadow of Mordor I observed my 750ti using minimal resources—around 1.7GB/2GB VRAM. I maintained smooth 60-80 FPS with the CPU at 80-90% load and the GPU consistently at 99%. The extra 300MB VRAM seems to help, but performance drops when I increase settings slightly, likely because the GPU is already near full capacity. Should VRAM always be saturated for optimal performance? If yes, consider adjusting other parameters or tweaking graphics options to free up space or improve efficiency. Thanks in advance!

Vram must always have space; when the game uses 99% of the GPU, any extra VRAM remains untouched

vram refers to memory used for quick data access by the GPU. Leftover vram doesn’t necessarily limit performance; it simply means the game doesn’t require much memory for textures, which can actually improve speed. However, insufficient vram can drastically reduce frame rates, sometimes dropping from 60fps to just a few frames per second.
