You recently swapped your 1080 for an ASUS 3060 with 12GB RAM, but no video output appears on your monitors. Your old card used a pigtailed PCIE cable to power both ports, while the new one only needs one “tail.” I’m curious if this change might be causing the problem. You followed the installation instructions and online resources, so you’re confident the setup was correct. I’m here to help clarify any issues. Thanks!

It's interesting to know if you receive any output during startup. I'd be surprised if your PSU isn't delivering enough power, especially since the 1080 and 3060 models seem to share similar wattage. Could you confirm the exact model number of the 3060? It’s unusual for it to have a different pin configuration than others.

It instantly displays "no input" on my screens. The 3060 model is a Dual-RTX3060-012G-V2. The wiring layout is 4x2. A picture has been added to clarify further.

I checked the specifications, but I'm not sure about the feature set or the LED indicator on your Asus ROG Strix GPU. You mentioned seeing a red blinking LED when it wasn't getting power—have you looked into the 8-pin version and confirmed the same behavior? The picture you shared seems to show a zip tied to the back of the video card, which might be related.

I've tested both eight-pin connectors and now going back to the original card to pinpoint the issue. Feeling a bit worried.

Did you inspect the opposite side of your power supply unit? If it's modular, it might have disconnected—consider testing a different PCIe 8x port or an alternative adapter. Since your other graphics card functions properly, the issue likely lies earlier.
