Hey, sorry for bringing up an old discussion. It seems I’m facing a similar issue here. My cousin’s pre-built PC uses an Asus motherboard with a generic case. The case includes an RGB light strip linked to the reset button through a controller that manages all fan RGBs. Originally, the control was via the reset button. I managed to detach the fans’ RGB from the controller and connect them directly to the motherboard using ASUS software. The challenge is the case’s light strip—it has a female VDG connector (similar to one found on Gigabyte boards, which I don’t own). If I can find a male VDG adapter compatible with a 5V 3-pin RGB cable, it would resolve the problem and allow me to connect it to the motherboard. I’m having trouble locating this male VDG adapter. Any suggestions? Thanks!
