Hello! I just completed assembling my first PC but haven’t received any updates. My initial concern was... I’m getting no signal, no fans spinning, nothing at all because I don’t have a CPU yet. I thought I’d finish building it earlier and just install the CPU once it arrives. I understand how crucial the CPU is, but I’ve seen online discussions suggesting you can get basic functionality without it or RAM. My components are: - Motherboard: Asus Prime B550 M-A - Power Supply: Corsair CV650 - Graphics Card: RX 570 X (planned to switch to 6700 X/6800 X soon, DW) CPU: coming Friday - RAM: DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 3600 MHz I just need to confirm if I connected everything correctly before the CPU arrives. Also, a small detail I missed: the motherboard does receive power, as indicated by the yellow LED bar in its design—no beeps when trying to power it on and no error messages displayed. Thanks ahead of time!

A 650W power supply might have trouble with the 6800XT addition but should work until then. The missing CPU is expected to stop the system temporarily—just wait a bit, and it should resume functioning once installed. Have a great day!

The indicators you mentioned appear mainly on premium boards with a bios flashback function. Such features won’t be found on budget $100 motherboards.
