I placed the chip on my Tomahawk B760 and removed it once it stopped working properly. The board seemed damaged. Any suggestions? Would it be better to move it to a new circuit board and try it again? ---- I discovered some pins were scratched. Could a conductive pen in nickel help repair those? Edited August 26, 2023 by LoopS
That's great news. I'm planning to try it out on the new motherboard I'm installing.
It seems the item is still intact, with no visible damage. You might want to check closer or inspect from different angles.
