No, there are no key bindings available for The Darkness 2.
So I picked up The Darkness 2 on humble bundle since it was free and I have a big issue with the game. My Mouse wheel click is broken on my mouse and that's the default melee button in the game. I went into the keyboard layout options and tried to change it from mouse 3 to something else on my mouse but it just makes a ding sound and nothing happens. I tried to rebind one of the extra buttons on my mouse to be mouse 3 but that didn't work for some reason either. I don't know if changing the keybindings is broken in this game or if I'm doing something wrong but it's annoying as hell. The only way I can use melee is to plug in a crappy mouse with a working middle click but I don't wanna do that. After I click the box to reassign the button ingame it just makes a ding sound and the box says " " and thats it. It doesn't actually seem to bind the keys. Also it will say "waiting for input" for about 1 or 2 frames then it goes away.
It's odd I haven't noticed any questions about re-binding keys lately. Mostly I rely on steam chats unless you bring up simple, unclear things. I did notice a few crash reports and one person claimed their game crashed after rebinding keys, but everyone else said it worked fine. Perhaps try reinstalling the game or checking the cache?
this place is really messed up. from what I understand, you should be able to reattach keys easily, but a controller might perform better in this game. I plan to install it once I get home to test it personally. also, checking the Steam cache integrity could help.
