I purchased it since it was offered at 5 GBP on Steam—it looks like a solid offer, right? It’s not too far from completion.

It's already too late to finish the download, I'll just see what happens next.

I retired and found this game really enjoyable. However, everything has its limits... I didn’t complete the expansion either. Haha Smile Maybe I’ll try it again someday. You know it’s a paid service, right?

That's why I quit... I didn't want to pay each month, but the game is really nice.

Removing software and receiving compensation. Complete nonsense.

The cost isn’t a big issue for me since I’m used to older titles. The real problem was the game’s mechanics—especially the point-and-click MMORPG style, which I just don’t enjoy. I prefer straightforward action over that kind of system.

Yeah, it's not super intense—just a lot of time moving from one spot to another. I mostly dive into Diablo 3 in full hardcore mode.

It also has the issue where a lot of the content and progression is gear based... so once you max it there is nothing to do. Not to mention crafting or gathering is just and endless cycle of doing so to buy/make better gear for your class to make gil when there is no real gil sink.

Gear crafting works best for lower-level classes only if you haven’t kept up with your old gear. Or style trends. Or the guild’s rules. The main issue is that progress moves too slowly, and your retainers can’t keep pace. They also struggle to match your level. Another concern is the enchantment requirements. I don’t like the restrictions or the cost. It would be great if you could bring someone along on adventures instead of a chocobo, or have them as a third-party member when playing solo.
