I haven't seen anything matching that detail in the UK retailer listings online. Bitwit's video mentioned including fake sticks with his Trident Z Royals, but no confirmation from the sources.

It seems the product likely includes genuine RGB sticks, as manufacturers typically provide them. In unboxings I've seen, people don't usually receive fake sticks with the TridentZ Royal. The BitWit video also didn't show any dummy sticks; it appeared the device had all necessary RAM.

I've never come across a kit that includes fake sticks. It seems companies often list dummy sticks as examples. (I don't get why that's confusing.)

I'd like dummy sticks because I really like all of my DIMM slots to be filled with RGB but I'm too broke and can only get 2x 8GB sticks. I just had a look and there's Corsair Vengeance dummy RGB RAM

Yes, it's real, though I've never seen it paired with a 2 stick RAM bundle. This could be a great reason to make your own paper and marker sticks.

Who needs fake RAM when your heatsink and fans handle it? I’m using a G.Skill Trident Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 setup. I leave the RGB off completely. I’m not into it at all. If I need lighting, I’ll go all out with a Christmas tree.
