Telstra’s website ads are confusing and hard to understand. The best plan is a fixed wireless connection, but it’s not clear. I’m frustrated and want a simple answer.

It varies by the NBN service you have. The type you're covered for determines it—FTT* or fixed wireless. If you're in an area with fixed wireless, that's what applies. Check Telstra's guide here: https://www.telstra.com.au/content/dam/t...-final.pdf Consider comparing providers to find better deals. Telstra often has less competitive pricing.

This page suggests the current tech setup. Their recommended devices include modems with 4G fallback at reduced rates. It seems you're not interested in fixed wireless solutions.
