I’d strongly advise against it. Most 1000/2000 series Ryzen processors didn’t last past 3000. Just turn on XMP, lower the clock to 2933, and it’ll still run fine. I’d recommend getting a 3000/3200 model instead—it’s more affordable and could offer better performance options like a 2x16 3200 setup depending on your location.

I’d recommend getting a 3000/3200 model instead—it’s more affordable and could offer better performance options like a 2x16 3200 setup depending on your location.

The specific board choice isn’t critical since the IMC will dominate performance; just pick any layout (daisy chain or T-Top) it matters not so much.

It depends on the motherboard and chipset you have. A better board usually means you can reach at least 3000MHz. I used to get 3200MHz with my 2600 and had a simpler board, possibly just by chance.

3600 is not a good sign. The number 2933 "and above" relies on many variables. 1.37v 16-18-18-36 2933mhz
