I found myself getting even more puzzled each time I read about it, especially when deciding which chip to purchase for the internet. It seems like every CPU feels like a bottleneck.

Several elements influence the situation. I believe this setup works well for you. Also, it seems 12 gen supports PCIe 5.0.

Should be fine, there is some benefit to 13900k, but its not an amount worth spending another 600$. Also depends on what resolution you play at.

It requires a lot of CPU power to keep a new GPU running smoothly, which is actually beneficial. Additionally, drivers are continuously improving for GPUs.

No way the 12900k shouldn't bottleneck a 4080 under normal use at all xD the only issue would be with games at 1080p medium settings and that's not what you get when you buy a 4080 for

The i7-13K offers stronger performance compared to the i9-912K, making it a potentially better choice depending on your needs.

If you haven't bought it yet, 13700k could be a slightly better choice because it's essentially a 12900k with improved silicon and the upgrades for the 13th generation. The decision mainly depends on how much you're willing to pay.
