Firstly theres an i5 8600k and an i7 8700k. Haven't heard of an i7 8600k before. Secondly, Intel kinda sucks that boards mostly work for the one generation of cpus it came out with despite using the same LGA 1151 socket. 8000 series chips need a 300 series board.
