You're mistaken. Your board is likely from 2014, and DDR5 RAM isn't available yet. You have DDR3, which is perfectly suitable for Minecraft with RTX.

You still don't have DDR4, the 4790 is only compatible with DDR3. That's why people will recommend new motherboard, ram, and CPU if you want an upgrade.
