I have an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X and a MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK board. After updating the BIOS, the voltage doesn’t rise as much as before. Now I just need to open a browser and the CPU instantly increases to 4.475 MHz, which is the highest clock for all cores. But when I load a game that uses only 10% of its capacity, the clock speed stays around 3.6 to 4.5 MHz and doesn’t change much, even though the load remains constant. The CPU adjusts its speed every second as if the workload changes. How can I fix this? Please help.

Single core XFR boost settings indicate the CPU VID sometimes asks for higher voltage. This occurs mainly when the CPU is idle and will activate a single core. The high voltage request doesn't apply during idle operation, as the CPU stays within TDP and EDC limits. In HWInfo64, check the SVI2 TFN (v-core) details. Ryzen Master or CPU-Z can provide more accurate readings. Avoid relying on CoreTemp; 1.450V won't damage your processor. VID is a voltage request, not the actual operating voltage.

To view SVI2 TFN in HWinfo, use the appropriate command or interface. If the voltage reaches 1.475V, it can be harmful to the CPU and may cause degradation over time.

Only dangerous when you adjust the voltage that way. When the CPU is running stock, this is typical XFR boost VID voltage. It's not related to the v-core. Keep scrolling until you spot SVI2 TFN (v-core).
